Initially all residents have their medication administered by a qualfied nurse who continuously monitors its effects in conjunction with the resident.

Each resident's medication is reviewed at regular intervals. If changes are needed between reviews, a referral is made to the resident's consultant and/or GP.

Should a resident wish to assume full responsibility for their medication then, provided that this is consistent with their risk assessment and Support Plan, they will be encouraged to do so.
A lockable wall safe is provided for safe storage in each resident's bedroom.
